3 Black Owned Breakfast Spots in Henry County

Who doesn’t love a good breakfast spot? (And if you don’t, you’ve obviously never tried the goodness that is French Toast.) Well, in lieu of Black History Month, we have compiled a list of 5 black owned breakfast spots in the Henry County area that you MUST try.

Two Eggs! Restaurant

Whenever you’re in the McDonough area, Two Eggs! Restaurant is a great breakfast spot to try. Their breakfast bowls are definitely a hit! You can get their breakfast bowls with grits or potatoes, eggs, your choice of protein (or make it vegetarian), and other toppings such as onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. You can order your food to go or dine in (it’s a cute little vibe).

Nana’s Chicken & Waffles

Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles may be new to the Henry County area, but they are not new to the breakfast game! This breakfast/brunch spot recently relocated from Conyers, GA to McDonough. They are located in the South Point shopping center. Famously known for their waffles and chicken, they also serve a variety of other items such as skillet potatoes, Cajun shrimp & grits, and omelets.

Pur Zen Mimosa Wine Bar

It goes without being said that Pur Zen Mimosa Wine Bar has mimosas on deck! We mean…what is brunch or breakfast without mimosas? While their brunch menu is only available on Saturdays and Sundays, it is definitely worth a trip with key entrees such as brunch boards and oxtail & grits.
